*The College recommends a full re-examination of a patient that has not been seen in a year by the chiropractor. The patient could have a new complaint, or his/her medical condition could have changed over this time.

Workers Compensation Board (WCB) claims:
Chiropractic visits and X-rays are insured for work related injuries. Workers are covered for wage loss benefits while under the care of their family chiropractor. Injured persons should consult their family chiropractor immediately upon injury. No referral is required.
Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) claims:
Coverage is provided for office visits and xrays for injuries for injuries resulting from vehicle accidents. No referral is required. ICBC may pay only part of the usual office fees.
